I have seen the television ads for the Maxx HD which highlight simultaneous voice and data. Does it work?
Lol I came to ask if this phone would do voice and data over 3g at the same time since I have not yet been to an area that lacks a 4g/LTE connection. Eclipse2k have you tried this successfully or just going off the FCC diagram and info showing SVDO? I was assuming that this phone would be able to do voice and data over 3g simultaneously without a wifi connection but you known what they say about assuming....3G voice and data works as advertised.

Maxx supports SVDO.
Mine will do 4G and voice but not 3G and voice at the same time.

Weird because I know for a fact that mine does it.

Maybe it has something to do with tower technology? Anyone know? I just know when I am streaming music and I get a call, my music stops until I hang up. Going over Bluetooth that is only synced for media not phone. Or maybe that is the problem?

Ditto. I ran a similar experiment while on the phone yesterday.Weird because I know for a fact that mine does it.
Edit, I turned 4G off and set my phone to CDMA only and called customer care just as a test. I was able to surf the net and talk at the same time on 3G.
