Since my Samsung S6 was updated to v6.0.1 Marshmallow I cannot send emails. What could the issue be?

I receive emails without any problem but I cannot send new ones or reply to received mail. I use various email addresses and it fails to send for all including gmail ones (via the email app). I can receive on all of these. I have tried sending from home using WiFi and when out using the mobile signal but as I get a poor signal (GPRS if I'm lucky) I can never be sure why it isn't working. It used to work before the upgrade.

Try first a Cache Partition wipe, and if no go, consider a Backup & Reset. Let us know if you need advice about backing up fully.
