Since nougat update play music app keeps coming up in notification shade

Not sure what's causing it. I thought it was me accidentally pressing the app open or something but it happens when I swipe in on the edge app regardless of what home screen I'm on. Anyone else having this or know how to stop it?

I had it happen 1 day. Back on Saturday. I spent most of the morning moving furniture and my Edge was in the front pocket of my jeans...and 3 times...purely random, Pandora started playing...while in my pocket! At no point that morning had I even selected or even looked at Pandora so I have no clue why it was starting up.
Good news...it only happened that 1 day.

Same problem here. Google Play Music randomly appears in the notification area. I've isolated it to whenever the phone disconnects from bluetooth, which is really weird. I thought it might pop up when it connected but it's not

Right. Just had a Google Play Music update from the google play store and it seems to have fixed it

I did also receive an update recently and have not see it happen since then.
