Since the last update to my galaxy s4 my phone will not connect with my Ford Truck. Why?

I bought a new ford truck and since I bought the truck my phone has not had a problem connecting to it until this last OS update that occurred on my phone about a week ago. I need to know if this is repairable or if I need to stop buying Android phones all together. Is there a way to go back to the previous OS before the update.
