Since the upgrade to Android 5 Lollipop, why can't I enter a search box from the keyboard?

Since the upgrade to Android 5 lollypop I can't enter search box from the keyboard.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. The upgrade happened automatically and without my go ahead.

Try clearing the partition cache to see if that fixes the issue.
