Single day calendar appointment adding a day in the past

I have a Galaxy S21 on Verizon. I use my Gmail account to sync my calendar across multiple devices. I prefer to use the Samsung calendar app when on my S21. My issue is that when I schedule a 1 day appointment everything will input correctly. Once it syncs, it will appear as a multi-day appointment with the second day 1 day prior to the first. (Ex. schedule for March 5th. Once synced it will show as starting on March 5th and ending on March 4th.) I have checked my time settings and everything is set to automatically update. Also, if I check the appointment on Google calendar it continues to be displayed correctly.
