I received my Note 10+ yesterday, and I go way back with Note phones starting with the Note 2. I've always been able to change the function of answering the call with a single tap of the answer call icon instead of sliding it. Didn't see the option in the Note 10+ and a Samsung rep confirmed that function is no longer available. Of course, I didn't believe him so I did some digging around on my phone and found 2 ways to change it.

First change option:

Settings > Accessibility > Interaction and Dexterity > Assistant Menu > Toggle On > Tap Assistant Menu > Toggle on Single Tap to Swipe

You will see the assistant menu icon on your screen. If anyone can figure out how to remove it and keep single tap active, I am open to suggestions.

Second change option:

Settings > Sounds and Vibration > Answering and ending calls > Toggle on Press Volume Up to Answer

The assistant menu can be dragged and dropped off the screen. If you hold down on it long enough a X remove will pop up at the top, you can drag it there and it's off the screen. Itll be stored in your drop down menu. And the tap to answer still works

Thanks, mach1man! I dragged it off of the screen and tap still answers the call. Awesome!

No it will continue to work but the menu button pops back up so you just have to hold and drag it off the screen again after each restart.
I dont know why they put that in accessibility menu and with floating icon .SMH

I hid the assist menu but is there a way to get rid of the stupid notification when you slide down the top menu that says Accessibility: Assistant Menu

get Good Lock from the Galaxy Store, turn on Quick Panel Star, turn on Notification Popup Button

afterward, swipe the notification in the panel and you will see a square icon. hit that and it should handle it from there out if there's no other way to get rid of the notification.

Enable the one-handed mode on the Galaxy Note 10 to make you more productive.
You can also change the side as per your convenience. To enable one-handed mode on your Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, go to Settings > Advanced Features > Motions and gestures > One-handed mode.Choose one of the options, and that's it!

The floating accessibility button will also come back when you use Android Auto. For the life of me, I don't see the connection, but be aware that AA will make it come back, and it's annoying as hell.

For me it keeps coming on automatically and randomly and I don't use any Android Auto, it has a mind of its own so I disabled it and I'm gonna live with the swipe to answer nuisance
