Skinomi and HTC sensation

I installed a Skinomi on my HTC Sensation according to the directions and now it no longer works. I sent a letter to Skinomi and they really never addressed (as I did) the fact that my phone no longer works, they simply sent another screen protector.
Now, as I read the back of the box, it says "As with any electronic device, exposing yours to excessive water or fluids may cause the device harm. Skinomy (tm) will not be responsible for any damage to the device caused by excessive water or improper installation of Techskin(tm).
What amazes me is that Skinomi supplies a solution to spray on the screen to properly apply the Techskin as a part of the kit.
At any rate, my new Sensation is junk.
I removed the back and battery in an effort to dry out the device for about a week now to no avail.
Does anyone know of a competent technician who can fix the phone properly in the Minneapolis area? The phone does not always boot properly and when it does, the screen has darkened itself to the point that it is not useable.

Yea... you have to be careful when using those skinomi screen protectors. They recommend applying it while the device is off and then to leave the device off for 24hrs before turning it back on... using too much of the liquid will fry the device. That's something you really can't repair once the damage is done. The best thing to do is take everything out of the phone and let it sit in a bag of rice to absorb the moisture. It needs to be done immediately though... once you start using the phone after exposing it to water, it makes things worse. You can try the bag of rice trick and let the phone sit for a few days but it sounds like the damage is already done.
