Has anyone experienced first hand this product. Amazon usually has great reviews but this was not reviewed yet so I thought I'd check the wonderful world of androidcentral forums :D

There are reviews of it on youtube for other phones. just do a search for "skinomi screen protector"

I was wondering the same thing, but I went ahead and made the jump today on this: Amazon.com: Skinomi TechSkin - Black Carbon Fiber FILM Shield & Screen Protector for Motorola Atrix 4G + LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS: Cell Phones & Accessories

I will post my thoughts on it as soon as i apply it. Ill also try to post pics.

I have been curious about them as well. I will say this though, don't get too caught up in the "LIFETIME REPLACEMENTS" aspect. Like Zagg, they won't replace it if you install it incorrectly. So be very careful when you install.

Looks good. You did an awesome job applying that.

Thanks. The back and sides were definitely the hardest parts because the carbon fiber didn't really bend and stay until heated up with the blow dryer. I would say the job took 40-45 minutes (about 10 mins for the front and 30-35 mins for the back and side pieces).

Would you say that it makes the phone more or less "grippy"? Some people have complained that the phone slips out of their hand too easy.

I love mine, it was a pain to put on but it actually gives the phone more group to me.it keeps the phones good looks visible but I still think I'm going to purchase a clear gel case for a little extra protection from drops cause all the skinomi really does is protect the phone from scratches.

I agree with vay23, it does make the phone grippy. One of the main reasons that I purchased the the skin was to give the phone a little more grip. I didn't wan't to go with a clear back because from my past experiences the clear backs make the device grippy but it also starts a sanding effect (from being placed on its back a lot) where it looks like it has been sanded down and therefore is nasty looking and not clear anymore.

I really like the carbon fiber back because you get the grip that comes with it and hopefully it'll be a lot more durable so it will not get the sanding effect that I explained previously.
