Okay guys and gals, I had a big long review typed out with a TLDR section and all, but the AC app decided to crash when I went to upload pics. I guess that's the price of being a beta tester...
The review covered the Skinomi Tech Glass Screen Protector. It is a tempered glass screen protector and seems to do a pretty good job.
Anyway, since that review is now history, I'll post the TLDR version.
Pros:
- Price($24.95 + $2.95 S&H when I bought it)
- Tempered Glass
- Lifetime Replacement (never tried, but it's listed on the package)
- No loss of responsiveness. Still 100% accurate as far as I can tell.
- It covers the entire screen.
Cons:
- There's a definite hit in terms of screen clarity. It's not terrible, but it's noticeable; especially on whites and greys.
- The protector covers the front facing camera. It's a clear piece, but still.
- The sprinkles in the black on the top and bottom of the protector.
Mileage May Vary:
- When I installed it, I used the standard side-to-side version of the hinge method. It's much harder to get lined up on this phone. I might suggest a modified version of the hinge going from top to bottom.
