Hello All,
Recently drowned my BlackBerry 9900 and decided to come back to Android for a bit until BB10 launches and bought a Galaxy S3.
The one major thing I absolutely miss about my 9900 that this phone just doesn't seem to do out of the box is being able to skip music without actually being in the phone.
What I mean by this is that I could have my 9900 security locked and skip music by holding the volume rockers down. This feature comes in super convenient in a car when you have it plugged in an AUX IN port.
I've been unable to find anyway to reproduce this. It seems I have to unlock the phone, open the music player (Or widget) and skip it that way.
I've even tried a set of old HTC headphones I have with the skip buttons on them, but this just cranks the volume up and down.
Am I missing something? Is there a hidden option somewhere I just can't seem to find? Or do I have to install a third party App or Root / Reflash to get this functionality?
I wanna love my S3, but so far I just like it. Missing my 9900 a bit.
Thanks in Advance!
