My daughter recently got a Samsung Tab 2 10.1 unfortunately Sky havent sorted the Sky Go app to work on this device.

However she can access it on her S3 phone. Question is....how does she tether the two devices to be able to see Sky Go on the larger Tab 2 screen

I couldn't find a Sky Go app in the Google Play Store - can you provide a link?

Seems like this TV watching service should be accessible via a browser - why doesn't she just use a browser on the Tab 2?

Typically you'd use a Chromecast or AllShare Cast setup to mirror content on a TV, but I'm not familiar with a solution that allows you to mirror the S3 display on another Android device - sorry.

What you said was that the Sky Go app wasn't supported, and what I asked is why she doesn't just use a browser - a browser is a browser, regardless of platform.

In any case, I have not seen a solution that allows you to mirror the S3 display on another Android device. She can purchase an MHL<>HDMI adapter and mirror the display on a TV, or see if Chromecast via a browser on the S3 will work.

Tried the browser approach first.SkyGo page simply ask you to download appropriate app for your device be it pc tablet or phone

Thanks for the clarification.

If that's the case, I don't see any alternatives other than: wait for the app to add support for her tablet; get a supported tablet; use a TV to mirror the S3 display; root the tablet and change the build.prop to make the device seem like an S3 (or other supported device).
