Skype and galaxy s4

I am buying a galaxy s4, but it MUST be able to use Skype, I have heard rumors that the galaxy s4 crashes when using Skype. Is this true?

Skype will be one of my most important features that will be used the most.

I also had another follow up question for anyone, can the S4 run Skype in the background while running games / apps?

What I mean by run Skype is that I was hoping the person i'm on the call with could continue to see me if I opened Apps and games during the call

Yes I use Skype a fair bit, BUT sometimes on my iPad too, or my other phone (a Z10). I have never had an issue. I have not tried using it while gaming, BUT I'll test that out late tonight with my girlfriend during our nightly skype call.

It has just crashed on me!

I was loading skype and then I got a black screen. I can see the bar at the top but nothing else.

F*#K!!!
