So I updated Skype but still no video. Anyone know how to get the video which they say is available on the Evo 4G to work?

In Skype, go to Contacts. Then select the contact you want to video call. Once selected, under Actions will be an option for Skype video call. Hope this helps!

You have to use the hacked version of Skype to give you video on the EVO 4G.

Actually, I just went back in and the "Enable Video Calling" option was there under Settings. It wasn't there before. This is the upgraded market version of Skype 2.1.

Yes, I tested it using my laptop.

Every time I try to begin a video chat it freezes and reboots my phone

The Skype from market did have video option , however , when I logged in all my contacts were unavailable. Went back to apk and everything was fine.
