SkyRaider Vanilla 3 vs. Cyanogenmod 6

Kingklick's kernel is based off the old source, but has more features and is patched to 2.6.32.24 and chad's kernel is new source, 2.6.32.17 but lacks oc, uv and havs, but has gpu+ and bfs

Yeah, I think Chad's kernel is one to watch, but in the meantime just use King's. He makes really nice kernels. Or, he did. He stopped making the AOSP kernels after a while.

i will definately watch chad's. i already bookmarked it. thanks for sharing the link.

will i have to have "s-off" to flash cm6?

No, although there really isn't much of a reason not to go ahead and do it. Its a good way to really fix anything that could go wrong in the future.

It'll let you just flash ClockWorkMod if ever you have to, like if you accept a Verizon OTA that takes away your root.

which is more stable? skyraider vanilla 3 or cyanogenmod 6?

I would go with CyanogenMod... and now that 6.1 is about to hit stable release it will be better. I have used both and switch between the two, and CyanogenMod is my favorite by far. Hope this helps.

i installed cm6 yesterday and i ddnt have an android market i wonder what went wrong

I believe the Google apps are in a separate file you have to install. I used ROM Manager and I believe it even prompted me to get it.
