Well I finally did it. I rooted my Inc2. It was a long and learning process. Just as I was about to give up, i finally achieved s-off and changed the boot. I flashed Virtuous Affinity first. Did not work to well for me. The phone itself worked, but emails, contacts and basically every other app forced close. I decided to go thru with SkyRaider Zeus. WOW. Works great, havent found any bugs yet. It runs sense 3.0. Some may not like this, but I happen to be a fan of HTC. best part was saying good bye to bloatware. Tether app works great, and finally screen capture. Wifi, bluetooth all seem to be working fine. And battery life seems to be good, although i still need to cycle and calibrate the battery. I read somewhere on line of people getting well over a day of use. im sure that involves some tunning of background apps and updates, but ill take it. Now im a big fan of the root, as i look around the house to see what else can get rooted :D. I highly recommend SKYRAIDER

Congrats on finally rooting! It took me a long time to actually pull the trigger too. I did lots of research just to make sure I knew (or was comfortable) in downgrading, then rooting. I personally prefer CM7, or AOSP roms to Sense roms, but to each his own right. Next up I'll be rooting the Wife's DINC2, and more than likely flashing Skyraider Zues for her, as she too likes Sense.

if your wife likes sense she will definitelty go for skyraider. i looked into cm7 but stayed with zeus. i was looking at Aosp, but i think that may require a lil more experience on my end (your opinion would be appreciated). let me know how your wifes install goes.

If you would like to try a nice sense 3.5 ROM i would like to recommend MikRunny v1.01, I have been using this since it came out and I don't think you will find anything better for a 3.5 ROM.

I flashed Skyraider about 2 weeks ago and like it so far. After rooting I messed with Sense 3.0 and then 3.5 ROMS then went to AOSP based ROMS, and am now back on a Sense ROM :). Battery life is pretty darn good with this ROM. Of course seeing as how I like changing things as good as this ROM may be it will not be with me for very long!

I like Sense too, but personally I prefer the "Vanilla" look, or aspect if you will, of CM7. Don't get me wrong, Sense has some good things that always keeps me going back and forth. I just tend to prefer the simplicity, and minimalistic approach that CM7 offers.
