Skyrocket (HD)

Anyone have the latest release date for the Skyrocket HD. I'm trying to patiently wait but my old Motorola Backflip is falling apart. Almost at the end of my roll of duct tape.

If it is released on 4-8, then you should be able to walk into an AT&T store and purchase one that day.

Skyrocket HD doesn't make sense with its pentile screen, and One X and Xperia Ion and Galaxy S III not too far away.

Agreed...as much as I like my "regular" SR, if given the choice to upgrade in a few weeks, I'd wait until any of the quad-cores come out.

It makes sense if you are within your 30 day takeback period on a new "regular" SkyRocket.

The Skyrocket HD is NOT coming out on April 8th. There is no launch date yet. If there was, you'd find it on the homepage of this website. Drudging a forum isn't going to get you any info that isn't readily reported.

Call your at&t store on saturday after 12pm and ask them if they have there shipment in for the HD.

I stopped by an AT&T store on the way home from work this afternoon and they told me it would be in stores Monday, 4/9, since they are closed on Easter Sunday. Not all stores will have them. The store I stopped at wasn't selected as one of the stores to carry it. They were heavily pushing the Note.

I stopped by my local ATT store and they have absolutely no knowledge of the release of the HD version and have no details about the specs either. Seems like they're being selective about what markets to release it, IF it actually shows up anywhere..

Ducstonr.. Am curious where you live and whether any of the stores actually get it!

The att I stopped at today said Monday also, but they were not scheduled to have any until later in the week. An ATT retail store at the mall said they would have them Monday.

...my AT&T and shop have NO idea about said device. I just want more info on it, i.e. what the real benefit is of HD. I'd hate to waste another $50-$100 more than I've JUST spent on my Skyrocket, for the HD, if it is simply a 'better' display of photos, videos, etc.

Sounds to me like an iPhone 4-to-iPhone 4S

Just called my AT&T store here in Tampa,FL they said they don't have the HD model
