This isn't, strictly speaking, Android Auto ... But I just got back from a quick visit to Best Buy because I kept getting a "Check antenna connection" error from the Pioneer 4100NEX when using SiriusXM.

Installer said they'd actually just gotten a bulletin on the SXV300v1 tuner because the antenna indeed was coming loose. A lot.

Took about 10 minutes to zip-tie everything together. We'll see how it holds.

Just a heads up if anyone's experiencing the same sort of thing.

Phil, look at the connector closely (if you dare take it out now that it's working). It's amazing that it doesn't come out from temperature changes, let alone hitting painted lines on the road. Hitting a speed bump at 10mph should throw it out of the jack. It's really low loss at that frequency, but mechanically it's junk - Pioneer should put a little "hookup loop" next to ALL their satellite connectors (including the GPS one) and some methog of clipping the connector to it after you push it in. (I have my cables almost welded to the car with zip ties - running them in the tunnel under the door frame can cause them to rub the insulation away, causing enough battery drain to give you a dead battery in the morning. I know - it happened more than once before I learned.)
