I have yet to hook up a bluetooth controller and play some games with mine but I have watched a few movies on the big screen using the adapter. Using MX Player, the movies look great and I completely forget that its playing through the phone until I hear a notification sound or get a call

I love the idea of the adapter, I just wish it worked with my nexus 7. I would much rather have my phone next to me in case I get a call, text, or email.

Yeah - I ordered one too. Love the idea of strolling into a friend's house and playing my movies from home on their tv via Plex.

My next mission is to find a portable screen/keyboard-mouse combo (kinda like a laptop with no actual computer inside, so once I maybe decide to install Ubuntu on the phone, I can have a full blown everything in one solution.... not to mention a movie station that plays better than my current dual core tablet!

I got my Slimport this past saturday and it works great. I'm so glad i got it. Now I can stream HD Google Play movies and really take advantage of T-Mobile's Unlimited Data lol

Ahhh, that's too bad.... maybe they will offer it in the future. I emailed them to find out.

does it support audio through the tv? I got mine yesterday and hooked it up but cant get audio to work. It keeps coming through the phone only. So i used bluetooth and hooked up to my stereo but doesnt sound that good. Anyone know how to get audio to work through the tv? Other wise great little tool.

Try to see if your TV is set up to use the HDMI audio
