Sloow data speed

I'm new to rooting and romming, MIUI is my first attempt (on a Droid x). I like it a lot, but my data speed is very slow (10% of what I used to get on gingerbread). I work at home so I'm on WIFI most of the time, but internet is dramatically slower even though everything else about the phone is faster. Is there some setting that needs tweaking?

what's your radio file under settings/about phone/status/ xx.(07/12/13)p
and try rebooting into recovery and wiping the cache partition
