Slow Charging

just ran an experiment at work on this. I wiped my phone stock rooted with just Pandora installed. 118.8v 10amp surge protected circuit. stock from box optimus usb wall charger 5.1v .7amp charger. 1% every 3 minuted screen on no apps initiated by me. with Pandora running screen on its 1% per 4.5minutes.
I used a stock evo charger 5v 1amp and its 1%every 2 minutes no apps running by me screen on. 1% every 3.5minutes with Pandora running screen on.
That extra. 3amp seems to help over time.

Issue with charging my phone.

So I'm guessing there's not fix to this issue? It's ridiculously annoying now. The battery takes longer to charge and it drains even faster now..

i had the same experience, had poor battery and slow charging, but lately i've been charging it with a droid 2 charger which is 5.1v .850 amp. and it charges much faster and battery lasts much longer.

also it may be because the phone is calibrating the battery or something the first few times thus the slow charging.

There's no calibrating when charging. Faster if near empty, slower if near fully.

BUT i've notice something.....

When I first got my optimus I was seeing charging rates around 429 mA.

I'm seeing as high as 700+. Perhaps it has to do with latest updates.
