I was playing around with slow motion video over the weekend and wanted to post this because it wasn't obvious how to do it in the camera app.

In video mode, tap the gear icon and change the FPS to 120. It is only available in certain aspect ratios (it works in 16:9 HD). Record your video and watch it in the stock Gallery app for slow mo. You can adjust the slow-mo speed while viewing. I couldn't get the slo-mo to work in Google Photos.

There may be other ways to do this but this is how made it work.

Do they make an app 28th better slow motion processing? Ie: you record in 1080p, then the app processes the slow motion? That a way you don't have to settle for 720p

When i go to mode and slow mo mine doesnt seem to play the video back in slow motion or record in slow mo for that matter, idk why.

When I go into slow motion mode and record, I don't see the icon to "speed up" the video as per user guides.

You have to play it back in the default Gallery app. Google Photos (and probably all other third party galleries) doesn't play the slow-mo at anything but normal speed. You have to open the video in Gallery and go into Edit to change the speeds.
