Slow TB!!! Help!!!

Have had my Tb since last tuesday and im starting to get some hickups on this phone,i hate not knowing why. 1st freeze was when trying to make a call,call wouldnt go thru and then like 15 seconds later it would go. 2nd lag would be this morning trying to get into my messages and it just wouldnt go and it would get stuck on a screen and then i just rebooted it and it seems to work.

I uninstalled advanced task killer because of what i read that it sucks battery life and slowed down phone,but now im getting these problems,i didnt think this would happen. Is it because of android os or ? Im lost on what i should do,i dont wanna return it and get iphone but i will if i have to. Even my friends fasinate is slow and gets really laggy at times. Any one plz give me some advice

I'm guessing it has something to do with have ATK installed. Since you removed it you may want to cycle the power if you haven't. What other third party apps have you installed?

I just noticed in another thread you said it was lagging when making calls and checking mail. If so hit menu>settings>applications>manage apps>all and find dialer & email and in each clear data and force stop. Then go back to each and see if they run smoother.

other apps i have installed was a walkie talkie app and pandora,mp3 musuc download,google maps,vcast sond id,speedtest,wellsfargo app,flash 10.2, and facebook,how do u power cycle

yeah its probably a third party app. most do not like the TB

While powered on hold the power button and select restart. This will close all your applications and restart.

ya what i did was turned it off but then i took off the battery to just let it rest for a quick,so what should i do if problems keep on happening

so far no,but we shall see later on,battery dying thou and all im doing is txting

ok i cleared the data for my messages and i went back to my messges and it says i have a txt but no txt shows

Give it a few minutes and it should go away if not go back in the manage application and force stop messages.

If your having battery issues check one of the thread with tips on saving it.

There are plenty of positives things that come when your rooted do a quick search in the forums there are some real good threads discussing the advantages. I think Cory in one of his stickies has some good info.

so i cant believe it my phone did alot better today,battery wise and thats after uninstall of ATK and a restart of the phone.. so far no lag.

do battery saving apps kill juice as well,well i heard juciedefender was a good app
