Slow transfer speed between SSD and an SDCard inside of a Huawei MediaPad M3

I've got the US version of MediaPad M3 from Amazon.com (Wifi ONLY) and it's 32GB. I also ordered a Sandisk Ultra 128GB Micro SDXC UHS-I Card (128GB) and it should be one the fastest cards in the market. I sticked it in inside my tablet but I'm noticing a slow transfer speed to copy my pics and videos (around 25GB) from my PC which has a Samsing Evo 850 SSD and running Windows 7 x64!. That surprises me because I'm basically copying files between 2 speedy storage media.

Is it because of the strange file system of the SDCard (file system generic hierarchical)?. Should I get it out of the tablet, and put it directly inside my PC, inside the adapter that came with it of course, format it in e.g. NTFS, then transfer my files first to it before sticking it back to the tablet?
Otherwise, what should I do exactly to retain the fair transfer speed?

I'll appreciate your sincere guidance on this matter...

I'm not an expert at this, but according to this information, UHS-1 will give a minimum write speed of 10 MB/sec: https://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/...-uhs-speed-class,-speed-ratings-(performance). If you're trying to transfer 25 GB of data, that's 25,000 MB. This means that at the minimum speed, it will take 2500 seconds or 42 minutes for the operation to complete. If we assume the write speeds are a little better (like around 20 MB/sec, as mentioned in this review: https://www.notebookcheck.net/Huawei-MediaPad-M3-8-4-Tablet-Review.185211.0.html), then it would still take over 20 minutes to transfer all of that data. Is that what you're seeing?

DO NOT format as NTFS, or the tablet won't be able to read it. If you have to format it (because it's not readable for some reason), format it as exFAT (which Windows 7 may not do, so format it in the MediaPad. Then put it into the Windows PC and copy everything. But, as B. Diddy said, 25GB is going to take some time.
