slow wifi download speeds

Wondering if anyone else is having issues with data speeds?
I connect fine to my home wifi, but it appears as though my data download speed is capped at <2mbps for both wifi and 3g?

My wife's iPhone is getting download speeds of over 10mbps on the same wifi network and >3mbps over 3g.

Is it worth flashing back to stock? or is this a known issue?

I'm running stock JH3 with SRE 1.2.1a with lagfix

I see that same thing, and it concerns be a bit. I am only a week into my 30 day demo period.

My iPod Touch pulls a solid 10Mbit down / 4-5Mbit up on my home 802.11G.

The Captivate, against the same server at the same time, gets 2-3Mbit down and 2-3 up.

And, it doesn't talk to my 5Ghz 802.11N (however, the Evo did).

Seeing if things like this and the GPS issue are fixed in froYo will be the deciding factors on whether I keep this phone, and this AT&T at all. If the update isn't out in 10 days or so, I will repackage the phone, remove the screen protector and send her back.

FWIW, I got Amazon Wireless to drop ship a replacement phone. Should take two weeks, though.

Still, I'll be able to evaluate and get them back before my 30 days is up if necessary.

I've noticed the same thing. Also sometimes I will have to turn WiFi off just to get data to work. which isn't cool because i have the 200 MB plan. happens like every other day and it happens in different hot spots
