I've been getting some extremely sluggish performance. Didn't download any new apps, didn't do anything. I might do a factory reset but I was wondering if any of you started seeing a bit of a slower performance?

Haven't seen any difference in performance here. Wish you luck and hope you figure it out the source before factory reset.

Have you tried clearing the phone wide cache or scanning using a antivirus type app (ie AVG)? Idk if either will help but it's worth a shot.

I noticed the same thing. My brother Factory reset his and it restored performance. I'm about to do the same.

I've actually noticed a little sluggishness here myself. I've tried not to bloat it with rarely used apps ever since I got it in January, but alas. Clearing the cache may have helped (3 gb), but it also may be my imagination.. like how your car always seems to run better after you wash it. :)

Keeping an eye here before I reset.

Thanks!

I've been researching this model as my G4 died recently. Looking to save money, this one is reasonably priced as the V20 is about to launch. In my research, I noticed a number of reviews that mention that the G4 gets sluggish over time, and no one can explain. My G4, which is more or less the same internals (except RAM and memory) as the V10, definitely got slower over time. Quit an app, takes 2 seconds to restore screen. Delays moving screen to screen. Yes, cleaning the cache helps, but it seems to fade after a time. Wish I could tell you the reason, but no one seems to know.

That's not normal. Did you clear apps cache and system cache?

A month ago my FPS died and I did a factory reset and restore from backup. It was noticeably faster after the reset. I am not sure why, all my apps and app settings remained identical. I am not one to hoard stuff and clutter up my drives with pics and the likes either.

My note 7 is so fast ...smoother than my second line which is a LG G5...oh sorry wrong forum...enjoy ya v10

Yep! Phone runs like ****.

By that I mean takes forever for the screen to rotate and while using google play music I literally can sit and stare at the app and wait for it to catch up to what Im trying to do. Cant wait to get rid of this phone.

On my second replacement btw.

I noticed my att V10 was running slow so I was going to factory reset. But then it died before I got a chance. It just froze and then only booted to LG logo. Tried hard reset and it got stuck on the confirmation screen. My brothers 9 month old T-Mobile V10 got replaced last week. My friends 3 month old sprint v10 also just died. He may get an iPhone instead.

I jumped ship from Samsung only because no more removable battery.

Welcome to club boot loop mine almost made it 10 months... I'm back on Samsung not the note the s7 edge and I'm really shocked at how great my battery life is. I'm trying to squeeze 48 hours out of this last charge.

I think alot of the performance issues with the v10 is that SD 808 cpu and the LG UI

I am a very light user, 3 days between charges, and mine has just started to get slower.

I've gotten a couple of updates on my AT&T V10 and, subjectively, battery life is improved and performance remains great. I'm still very satisfied.
