Planning to upgrade to Galaxy S6 Edge, leaning toward SM-G925F (Global) model.
Are there any disadvantage using the global model vs the carrier model
Thanks

No native WiFi calling and VoLTE, I'm not so sure about Band 12, as it seems it has it, so people with it on T-Mobile can tell you better.

For me none of the above is important so for me if I can choose would be the international version, BTW, while doing that check the Emerald Green, easily the best, more gorgeous and exclusive color of the Edge, and not available on T-Mobile.

I have the SM-G925F and unable to get LTE with Tmobile. I have changed all the APN settings to match my wifes SM-G920T and still no luck. Any advice would be appreciated.

What you have selected in Settings-Mobile Networks-Network Mode? This is just to double check that you have Auto Connect there and the correct LTE APN Settings.

BUT, remember that your SM-G925F has an European or Asian firmware, there is no LTE on those areas, so when you see 4G in your phone is really LTE signal, the icon is just different. If you want to be sure, just go to Settings-About Device and look for Mobile Network Type, it should still shows LTE.

If you want even more proof, go to the Play Store and download LTE Discovery or SignalCheck Lite, both will give you detailed information about your connection.

do you have any speedtest results for your SM-G925F?
Thanks
