SM-T210R acting very sluggish

Hello fellow Android users. I have a Samsung SM-T210R, yes I know it's very old. But I was hoping I could still get a year of use out of it. It is very sluggish, everything from facebook to twitter to photos takes 10+ seconds to load. And even when it loads it's still barely chugging along. I don't even want to try loading netflix. Plus once in awhile it pops up some error, but you know how it is, when you need to see the error, it will not pop-up. Can I do anything to rejuvenate this tablet? Will a factory reset do anything to help my situation? I really don't know what kind of other things can be done. This tablet is running Android 4.4.2

I have tried doing this 6 times just now, but it never gets to the Samsung logo, it flashes the Galaxy tab 3 logo twice and then shuts down. Man...I guess this thing is in a worse state than I thought.

Only 1 GB RAM/8GB ROM. You really cannot expect it to run apps now.


Very limited tablet now. I have one and it's useless. I even Factory reset it and also rooted and put a custom ROM and it is still too slow.
