SM-T700 Random Restarts After System Upgrade

I mostly use my Galaxy Tab for reading on the way to work. I never had a single issue with the device until I updated to Android 6.0.1 last night. One my commute this morning, it shut down and restarted at least a dozen times. If I can't find the cause, can I roll back the OS?

Got exactly same problem and NO SOLUTION OFFERED BY SAMSUNG!!!

I had the people at the Samsung desk in Best Buy reflash the device but that didn't help. Then I made a trip to a dedicated Samsung tech center and all they told me was to do a factory reset. I'll find out on my morning commute if that had any effect.

Well...so far, it seems the problem has been resolved. I did a factory reset and then chose NOT to reinstall all apps. I only installed those apps I really needed. The tablet did not restart during my morning commute. I can't say with 100% certainty that it was the reset or some offending app that I did not reinstall.

I don't see any signs of update but last night my 9.7" model had restarted itself (it was on Samsung screen) when I opened the smart cover and it was showing the wrong time and date. After a restart on my end it was correct again. It has retarted itself couple of times before, But why did it restart in the first place?
