SM-T825 Oreo?

When will I get Oreo on my SM-T825? It seems that it has rolled out in the UK for the T820, but no word on the T825 except some rumor that it might be today (just checked updates and none are available). Also, will it have that "emulation" of LG's boot loop thing like the S7?

There is carrier certification needed with the T825 because it's the LTE version. That takes longer...

With every carrier in each country they deploy it in?! Do you mean I have to wait for the corrupt and lazy guys who work for the cell providers in my country to approve the damn update?

NICE! I plugged my T820 in to my computer to see if maybe I could force it through SmartSwitch but it didn't show up. There's hope yet...

Well. My tab still has Nougat and I just checked for updates and no Oreo is offered. I am extremely angry here. WHAT IS WRONG?

Sometimes Samsung limits how many times you can manually check for an update. Try manually setting your date for tomorrow and check for an update again.

I will check tommorow. Samsung has messed with me in the past quite a bit (on my first tablet they blocked the 4.2.2 update for no reason, and a few months after I rooted it they underclocked the CPU like crazy). Hopefully they aren't pulling off those shenanigans again here in Serbia... If they region blocked the updates, that would suck.

They don't region block updates, they roll out updates by region, it goes slowly but you'll eventually get it.

I am in Serbia, which I assume is eastern Europe. Have they rolled it out in eastern Europe? I checked earlier today and no updates available.

Well it does something. My Note 8 wasn't seeing the Oreo update but when I changed the date on my phone to the next day then it saw the update.

I may try this if nothing else helps. I have tried VPN-ing my connection thru the UK but that didn't help. I wonder whether it has something to do with the CSC code (my firmware CSC code is SEE).
