SM-V700 watch

[AC Question]

watch has been not charged for a few months and if I try to charge it on my laptop it does nothing but if you push down on the screen a circle pops up lighted then goes off but no luck in charging.

I cleaned the gold colored contacts with an eraser and had to push the watch into it's charging station and gently shift it left, right, up and down all the while applying pressure with my thumbs. It hopefully will break thru any residue that is preventing connection. I was unable to tell if it worked but after massaging it for a minute or so, I latched the top cover down and let it charge all night. Surprisingly it worked. my next step was to replace the battery.
