We can't see it. Screenshots only show what is on the screen -- not the screen itself. A green dot or something like that is a defect. You would have to take a picture of it directly with another camera.

I have the same problem with my galaxy s7 edge. There is a very tiny green dot on screen which wont go away, tried everything. Looks like its one of the pixel in screen which only reflect green. Its a brand new phone, its shame for samsung to have that kind of serious manufacturing defect in their product, Very disappointed.

All mass produced phones can have defects -- Samsung, Apple, HTC, etc. -- That is why warranties exist. You can take it to where you bought it and show it to them. They should exchange it on the spot.

Samsung has replaced my screen and Samsung India HQ apologies for the same as I bombarded them in social media like Facebook and Twitter

My S7 Edge developed a dead pixel as well after a week of purchase. Got a new replacement from the Samsung store without any dramas.

Same thing happened to me. I got it replaced by Best Buy
