small, lightweight watch to receive SMS only

I work in a hospital where I can't keep my phone on my person. I would like to be alerted when I receive a text message. Don't want a full-featured smartwatch unless it's very small and light -- and sturdy! I am a klutz, so I don't want to spend a lot of money on something fragile. Would rather have something cheap that only does that one thing, and toss it if it gets broken. I have access to wifi, but will be several offices away from where my phone would be (so out of BT range).

Do you also need to be able to respond to texts? The Pebble might be along the lines of what you're looking for but I don't see on the site if it can connect through WiFi.

No, just to know when I get one. Then I can take a break and go to my phone if need be.

I bought one,not an Android Wear neither full Android.It is a sport style smartwatch.NO.1 G5

I use it mostly for running.It can also satisfy you requirement.
