Just got a little update from AT&T. still 4.4.2 build number ends 2AND3.

Don't know what it did but it did add lookout security and yellow pages app...

And you can't uninstall them...

Why would they send out an OS update just to install 2 apps? I mean yeah, I use yellow pages, but not everyone does...why force this?

Just got this update now and was also wondering what it does. All I can tell so far is it *dramatically* improved screen response time for me. In other words, when I move left or right on the home screens tracking is instant, like on the iPhone. It used to respond like it did on my S3, with a slight follow behind your finger. Never been a problem really but I've always envied how fast the iPhone tracks movements. I've also noticed in my S5 typing in my unlock code really blaze fast sometimes took more than one try, never had that issue on my S3. But now it unlocks perfectly when I type fast. Seems it improved the lag some were reporting?

You can still disable them, I did. So what if they take a few more megs of space when they allow them to be turned off?

I didn't get a notice about update.
but I already have Lookout on my phone.

I installed it just for grins. I was able to turn off yellow pages. I already had lookout installed. The installation said it was optimizing 155 programs while it installed. So, maybe the update will do some good. Too soon for me to tell.
