smaller battery?

On the pixel 2, how in the world can they make it have a smaller battery than the pixel? Scratch head

They're probably relying heavily on Oreo's improved background process management.

That's my guess, anyway.

I will be interested to see battery life reports from real users on the smaller pixel. Looking forward to that as well as everything else from the user’s perspective.

Well the XL battery capacity apparently actually went up slightly, which I am a bit shocked at, but moderately happy.

Snapdragon 835 is much more efficient, Oreo helps too
