Smart Lock Issue (Pattern)

I have turned Smart Lock on in the settings and chosen my home as a trusted place but not once has it worked and I have to keep unlocking my handset using the pattern.

Is this a know issue too? I have seen several people mention the fingerprint/Smart Lock issue but not this.

Any help would be hugely appreciated!

When you stored your home as a trusted place did you I put an actual address or hit 'add place" and let Google maps actually determine your location? It's much better if you use the latter method. When I put in my office address as an actual address it didn't work but when I just added my current location to trusted places (while I was in the office of course) it worked perfectly.

I have read elsehwere on the forum that this is a known issue with s6/edge and theres no workaround. just do a forum search.
