Smart Lock issues?

I have setup for certain locations, like my home and parents house, but it stopped working. It works when connected to my watch, but that's it.

I too have noticed that the Location based Smart Lock doesn't seem to work.

My Fit Bit does work well with Smart Lock, but not the location option.

My only opinion is that it might have something to do with the WiFi, not giving off accurate location data.

I've never had a need to use location smart lock because my smart watch smart lock works flawlessly. I realize this is potentially not responsive to the question.
