Smart Select and sharing images with text....

I notice if I use the Smart Select feature to share a portion of a screenshot, and then click "done" and then "share", if I try and send the resulting Smart Select image as a text message (at least in Textra), it pastes the image, but also inserts all of the text it extracts into the text message body. But I don't want it to paste extracted text. I only want to send the image. Anyone else seeing this?

The only work around I see is to save the Smart Select image to Gallery and then subsequently attach that image to a text message. But it adds extra steps. And perhaps I don't want the saved image from Smart Select but just want to share it and move on.

There should be a way to disable text extraction unless you want it during the above described workflow.

Easy fix. Select the data, done, then DRAW. That puts it into a photo mode and only shares the photo.
