Smart Switch says by S6 screen is locked, so it cannot connect. However my S6 screen is not locked. What should I do?

Is there a message on the phone when you run SS (or, if it's running, when you plug the phone into the computer), asking you to allow this computer to access the phone?

No, there is no message on my phone when I try to connect. When I first purchased the phone, I was able to connect to Smart Switch, but now that I have added my music files I get the message on my computer screen that my phone screen is locked when it is not locked.
