It seems the charger when plugged in is not charging, unless I turn the phone upside down. Wnat can I do to correct this? Do I need a new charger, or just a reajustment?

Welcome to Android Central! It could also be a problem with the wiring inside yoru cable, or with the microUSB port. Turning it upside down might be bending the cable enough so that the wiring inside the cable is making the proper contacts. Does this happen with other cables?
