SMS and Emails aren't being received

My wife's Hero has suddenly stopped receiving pushed gmail and texts. I hard reset it, resynced the device via settings and it still won't do anything. Has anybody else had this issue and is there a fix for it?...and no upgrading isn't an option until September.

Running:
Stock Eclair
Stock Gmail
Chomp SMS
no task killer.

Have you updated the PRL? It shouldn't have an impact on not receiving your email/sms, but just in case, update it.

Go to settings and system updates. Update the PRL and let it do it's thing.

Do you receive email when connected to Wifi? What about texts. Are any text messages being received?
