SMS bomber type app?

Favorite app for a long time has been SMS bomber. But it has been a while that the developer (probably abandoned it) has updated it. As the phones have progressed I have noticed that with each phone it sometimes freezes or locks up. Is there an app out there that is current and has similar capability?
