SMS Group chat glitch.

Hi, so me and and couple of friends were group chatting on sms the other day. Everyone left the chat but every since then I've been getting put in a gc with them. I asked and they haven't been making the chats and they don't get added to the chats. They can't see any messages I send in these chats. My phone is the Galaxy S9. Why is this happening and how do I make this stop

Welcome to Android Central! If even one person sends another message in that group message, then everyone else will receive it. Have you asked everyone to make sure they abandon the group message thread? The surest way to do that is to tell everyone to delete the message thread from their phones.

Try clearing data and force stop the app , see if it gets corrected. This is the stock message app ?
