Sms issue

With 1 specific contact I'm getting a rather unique issue (nothing found online):
I'm writing messages to the number "A", while I receive the messages from "informational call" number, instead of getting it from the same user "A".
I can't even figure out if that's an issue from the carrier, or phone

Try clearing data then force stop the message app

Have you contacted your carrier to see if they are able to help figure out?
Another option is to report error to Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Report after reproducing the issue once more. At the moment I am leaning a bit more towards the carrier side's issue

It does seem much likely to be a carrier problem, but I decided to check here in case someone had the problem before, trying to clean the data and force stop it now, if not helping, I'll contact the carrier, will try to update the case after.

You PM'd me to tell me the contact is a personal one -- it might be worthwhile to ask that contact to ask their carrier if their number is somehow bringing up an incorrect caller ID name.
