SMS Issues

So my N1 keeps having this persistent issue where SMS and MMS messages won't send. It'll attempt to send it, but it will return with a message send error. Anyone know of a way to fix this?

It has been rooted in the past, but its on a stock (unrooted) ROM now. The only thing that will solve the issue is a complete reboot.

My issue is that when I send an mms, the receiver gets a blank picture. Anyone know why and any solutions??
