SMS messaging app?

Been using the samsung stock basically because of the quick contact row at the top. Love that access. But feel lacking in overall experience otherwise.

What are options you guys are using that I should try ?

TEXTRA! By far! Textra is amazing, VERY customizable. Great customer support!
You won't be disappointed. It's worth the couple bucks for the pro version as well!

I can second that. Been using it for sometime now and it just works great. Customization is awesome

Samsung Stock app here too, tried hangouts but all I'd get is video invites from dudes in the middle east, disabled hangouts, maybe allo will be better...

ChompSMS is extremely customizable! Colors, font sizes, backgrounds etc. You can save different themes and switch back and forth. Super easy to adjust changes and see effects immediately.

Go to Google+ and Google "Klinkers" you'll then find their page with a link to join the Beta of their new messaging app...it's pretty decent even though it's still in Beta

Textra used to be good but it has gotten bad over the years, I prefer the stock Samsung app.

Same here. No matter what setting I changed or modified, MMS wouldn't go through. At all.

I've been using Chomp SMS for a couple years. No complaints!
