Howdy,

I thought I posted this yesterday but it seems like it's not here, so forgive me if this shows up twice.

If you open Messaging and compose a text message, does the OS automatically determine if it's an SMS or MMS? I don't see how one would select which one it is, so I am guessing it might make it an SMS if it's within the SMS character limit and restricted to text, and that it will make it an MMS otherwise.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
SRV

When you compose a new message and don't attach a picture it is a regular SMS. If you compose a SMS and attach a picture that is considered a MMS.

Does this help?

Cool - thanks. That's what I was thinking, but I couldn't find anything about it in the manual, so I was curious.
