SMS/MMS over Kenwood bluetooth car audio???

I just bought a Note 3 after having a Nokia 1520 for a while and I can NOT figure out how to get my text messages to broadcast over my Kenwood DDX371 unit! All of my Nokias and previous iPhones had this built in! I have tried various apps to fill in this gap and nothing has worked consistently. This is driving me crazy because I love this phone! From general research it seems that they have omitted "MAP" from KitKat? Sorry if this has been discussed before.:-\
