SMS notification app question.

I use Textra as my SMS app on my phone, my watch uses Messenger as the SMS notifier app....do I need to install something different on my watch to work with Textra? I get notifications on my watch but it's like a minute after I get it on my phone. Is this normal?

I don't know about your app, but I use Google's App on my Nexus 6P and I get notifications almost instantly.

I uninstalled Textra and then re-installed it, now I'm getting notifications instantly.

Ok, now it seems Textra SMS is not showing notifications on my watch...when I go back to the Stock SMS on LG G5 it works flawlessly, what gives?

It usually needs an AW app for best results. On the watch, it is already preloaded Google Messenger which works best with Google Messenger on the phone. Textra probably doesn't have any AW companion app. Also, on the phone, only the default SMS app (there can only be one) gets real time SMS messages.

I use textra and have not had any issues. My phone is a Note 4
