SMS Notifications

Hey everybody, I need some help.....

There may not be a fix for it but my notifications for texts don't go away after I read the text. It is when I'm already in the Threaded Chat and I get a new message for the chat I'm in then the notification icon in the status bar does not go away and my LED keeps blinking. It's kinda annoying to have to pull down the notification shade every message I get and hit clear so the icon will go away and the LED will stop blinking.

Anyone got a fix?

Nah I havent tried that cuz I'm rooted and I dont wanna re-root.

he said power cycle, meaning turn your phone off/on. not factory reset

Haha yeah I know, but doesn't unrEVOked need to be reapplied after every power cycle? I thought I saw that somewhere. If it doesn't then I'll definitely try it!
